This project continues from Utopia, where I questioned honesty and exposure.

Here, the question shifts.

What remains when everything is removed?

What do we actually carry through life?

The title comes from the Buddhist phrase 공수래 공수거.

We come empty handed.

We leave empty handed.

It reflects a simple but difficult truth.

Nothing belongs to us permanently.

Not even the body.

The work explores the body as something temporary.

Something that appears.

Something that disappears.

Like a cloud.

The garments are developed through natural dye and transparent silk, allowing the body to appear and dissolve through movement.

Rather than fixing the body, the garments move with it.

They become another state of the body.

Working with women of different ages became an important part of the project.

Each person chose their own level of exposure.

The work is not about forcing visibility.

It is about choosing how to exist.

Hands hold.

Support.

Interrupt.

Release.

Sometimes we carry each other.

Sometimes we let go.

This work is not about finding an answer.

It is about existing in between.

Between arriving and leaving.

Between holding and losing.

Between being and disappearing.

Living.

Loving.

Losing.

Returning again.
