Utopia – Get Your Birthday Suit On explores the idea of honesty through the body.
The project begins with the question: what would an ideal world look like if nothing were hidden? Instead of imagining a distant place, I approached utopia as a condition of complete openness—where thoughts, emotions, and judgments are no longer filtered.

The process started with photographing my own nude body, confronting vulnerability directly. This experience became a way to question control, identity, and self-awareness.
Garments are developed using transparent, skin-toned fabrics that closely follow the body. Rather than covering, they trace the body’s presence, functioning as a second skin. The pieces exist between exposure and concealment, allowing the body to remain visible while still mediated through material.

The project proposes a temporary state where individuals can exist without performance or protection. It acts as a starting point for further exploration of the body, identity, and impermanence.
